Guti's Warm Welcome From Turkey's Fans

Thousands of Besiktas fans were gathering to welcome Guti as he arrived at Ataturk International Airport at Istanbul, yesterday (27 July). With full of hopes and confidents, the supporters looked optimistic with the Real Madrid legendary player.

Guti's presence is believed to bring Besiktas to reach more success in Turkey and Europe. Of course, it has something to do with Besiktas new coach, Bernd Schuster. As people now, Schuster is an ex coach  of El Real with Guti as his favourite player. And thanks to him, Guti now has landed in Besiktas, with a salary of € 2,7 million per year, with 2 years contract.

"I'm very proud with the atmosphere here by the fans. I'm ready to perform with my new club, and will give my best to reach more success," state Guti.

Guti's job is to bring Besiktas to win Turkish League as well as European League for 2010/11. Last season, Besiktas only able to stand in fourth place in Turkish League. And for next season, Besiktas will be welcoming Ricardo Quaresma from Inter Milan, with a transfer nominal around €7,2 million.
