It looks like Real Madrid will have to say good-bye to Manuel Pellegrini soon. Because today (20/5) the Club will have a meeting that includes Pellegrini, Valdano, and Florentino Perez, with other members of management. The meetings will be all about discussing him and the team achievement during the season, and also to ask for Pellegrini's responsibility on his failure to brings a single title for Los Blancos this season.
Pellegrini did not able to satisfy Perez since the first time the White was out from Copa del Rey. Back then, the most expensive Spanish club was defeated by a minor club Alcorcon. It was the most humiliated moment for Perez, since he spent € 250 million just for expensive players, while Alcorcon's club budget was only €1.3 million. Not only that, Real Madrid was slaughtered by the host with 4-0. It was as shock for Pelle and the players.
The Champions League exit and La liga was his other failures and Perez won't tolerate any longer. It's no secret that there is a tension between the them. When Perez was asked about Pellegrini's future right after the Malaga's match, he replied ," Just ask Valdano. He was the one who brings him here."
The public believes that Pellegrini will leave Madrid soon, and that Mourinho will be his replacement. Afterall, Pelle already spoke to the press about his passion for Chilean coach, and he had appologize for his failure to brings Madrid to another success, but he believed that one day he could take Chile as the WC Champion.
At least it's a good thing that he still have a high ambition despite what happened to Real Madrid.
