Real Madrid officially announced that Pedro Leon will be part of the squad for this season (2010/2011). The also reportedly have completed the six-year contract with midfielder Pedro Leon from the major league club of Spain, Getafe. On Thursday (15/7) at Bernabeu, Madrid, Leon was seen joining the team for Real first day training session.
According to TVE, El Real just issued € 10 million to recruit Leon for six seasons. So far, the 23 years old player became the important part for Getafe’s successful through La Liga, when they made it to 6th place.
“Thanks to Real Madrid which has been my dream which I have experienced since the children,” said Leon. “My greatest hope is that it can participate to win some degree,” he added.
Unfortunately, on the first training day, which was also the debut for Jose Maurinho as Real’s coach, many players were still absence.
