Who: Twinkle Khanna

Twinkle is a picture of pure prettiness in a Little White Dress. The golden peep-toes and Union Jack clutch look perfect with the dress. I think the accessories go a long way in making this whole outfit a winner..Love!!

Who: Suzanne Roshan

Suzanne looks phenomenally chic in a LDB with a ladylike bow at the waist. Nude shoes and a black/brown printed handbag completed her look.

I like how Suzanne kept the accessories simple and let the dress take center stage. My only crib is that she should have done up her hair to further add to the look..

HDIL couture week - Celebs on day 4

Left: Sonakshi Sinha, Right: Malaika Arora Khan

This has to be the best appearance by Sonakshi!I love the draping on this mustard yellow dress and how it has the right amount of volume. And with loose, curly hair, Sonakshi looks like a glam goddess..

Malaika Also wore a sunny yellow dress to the "Being Human" after party. She accessorized with gold clutch and red shoes. This is one instance where the yellow-red combination is not looking that bad.. What do you guys think?

I like how Masaba dressed down her sequins shorts with a crisp white shirt. The orange-red shoes are perfect for a shot of color.

Farah wore a printed silk kurti with pants/churidhar and completed the look with beige clutch and pumps. I love the 70's vibe of her top and the fringe at the hemline.

HDIL couture week - Celebs on the ramp

Shahab Durazi closed the HDIL couture week and Arjun Ramphal walked the ramp for him. He looked really handsome in a black suit and cummerbund.

Abhay Deol was dressed like a western gunslinger when he walked the ramp for Arjun Khanna. To be honest, the outfit looks a little silly, but he makes it work:-)

Anushka closed the show for Rina Dhaka in a eggplant-colored lehenga. I like the starfish design on the scarf/dupatta and looks like a cute, wearable outfit with a more modest top..

Celebs at HDIL couture week 2010 - Day two

Who: Gauri Khan

Gauri is a true philanthropist - she has decided to help us all out by applying the Gulf oil spill on her face!!

We need to do her a favor in return - wrestle the spray tan bottle out her hand!!

She is a good example of money cant buy style. Don't even get me started on her pantyhose and orange shoes!!

Who: Rani Mukherjee

Dayum, Rani is stunning, leggy hotness- though it looks like her girls are getting a little squished!! Its nice to see her in something other than the drab/boring jumpsuits.

Who: Kareena Kapoor

I have never met a sequin I didn't like:-) Kareena dazzles in a shimmery silver dress that she paired with silver clutch and black shoes. The smoky eyes and hairstyle add to the killer party look.

Both, Sonam and Suzanne, wore Herve Leger bandage dresses.

Sonam's dress is vintage Leger. The dress could have worked minus the sleeves- right now it looks very severe and boring and somehow her hairstyle reminds me of sumo wrestlers...

I know a lot of you find Suzanne very "harsh" but she totally rocks the silver Leger here.

All three of them look fabulous in their outfits. Its very tough to decide which one is best since they all got it right.

After a misstep yesterday, Urmila is back in form in a golden sequins dress and in a hairstyle that has not changed since the last 20 years..

Queenie nails it in a sparkly mindress. Clean, simple minimalism at its best.

Is big hair back in fashion? Natasha is third person, after Aish (Manish Malhotra show) and Kareena, to support this hairstyle.

Ok, so no one liked Rekha's dress yesterday:-) Neck up, she is a hot mess but I love the color and draping and ruffles of this dress..Am I the only one?

Nothing that catches my eye. I am surprised to see Kiran not wearing something quirky. Dont let them get to you!! Hold on to ur style!!

All my adulation has gone to Preity's head... She wore this to a fashion event?? You are going to have to do a lot to get me to forgive you because you are in the dog house, missy, that's right in the dog house!!

I still cannot wrap my head around what Twinkle's wore!! Its so absurd - maybe her stylist is pissed at her..

HDIL couture week - Day two

Queenie Dhody and Raj Mahatani also showcased their jewelery designs on day two of HDIL .

Malaika Arora Khan was the showstopper for Queenie. The jewelery is pretty - just not my style.

Raveena Tandon was the showstopper for Raj Mahatani. Love her necklace - its so grand and OTT !! And cant believe she wore those clunky shoes on the ramp!!

Varun Bahl and Karan Johar presented their men's collection and in a major coup got Amitabh, Hrithik and Shahrukh to walk for them!! They look so delicious:-) Looks like the three broke out into a jig at the end..

HDIL couture week - Maheep Kapoor

Jewelery designer Maheep Sanjay Kapoor launched her eponymous jewelery range at HDIL couture week 2010. It was a bridal collection with a lot of rough diamonds and gemstones. Maheep wanted to do things differently, so she had her closest friends walk the ramp in her designs. I think that's a really brilliant!!

Her BFF, Gauri Khan, however decided to sit this one out. From what I understand Gauri has become very particular about which brands she associates with - yeah, right endorsing a home furnishing brand (D'Decor) makes sooo much sense!!

I have tried to get as many close-ups as possible...




Sonakshi Sinha and Ayesha Takia were the showstoppers for the show. Ayesha dazzled in a blue gown and to be honest looks so gorgeously stunning that I didnt even look at her jewelery!!
