England recorded a 1-0 victory over Slovenia in the last game of the Group C match for World Cup 2010, Wednesday (23/06/2010). Given the other Group C match, USA 1-0 win over Algeria, the British had to settle for second place in the group standings, just below USA at the first place.
As for Slovenia, they failed to make it for the next round. On the first 15 minutes, Slovenia seemed to be more superior on the field.
