The Real Madrid striker Ronaldo is the best paid footballer in the world according to a ranking published by the Belgian magazine Sport Foot Magazine. According to their survey, the Portuguese star takes 12 million euros, half a million more than his former teammate at Manchester United, Wayne Rooney. Third on the list is the current Lionel Messi Ballon d'Or, with an annual salary of 11 million euros.

Another Madrid, Kaka, is in eighth place with 8 million euros while France's Benzema wins, according to this publication Blegen, 6 million euros. In addition, Fernando Torres, which charges 7.8 million, is the most wins Spanish footballer. Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Casillas, Silva, Puyol, Xabi Alonso, Forlan, Kanoute and Argentina's Kun Aguero also fall into this classification.
