Today Nike unveils an action-packed movie that brings together some of the world’s greatest players to inspire football lovers and sports fans around the world. The epic movie will be featuring Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba, Fabio Cannavaro, Frank Ribery, Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Patrice Evra, Gerard Pique, Ronaldonho, Landon Donovan, Tim Howard and Thiago Silva.

The story will be completed with the appearance of the guest star, such as Roger Federer, a tennis legend, Kobe Bryant the basketball superstar, and Homer Simpson from the cartoon character.The film will be shown on TV for the first time on May 22nd during the European Club Final.

This movie was directed by Alejandro G. Inarritu, famous Hollywood director aswell as producer who creates Babel, and 21 Grams. It willl take you to an epic football journey through a match of goal line, game winning tackles, and lightning footwork across the world.

This marks the first stage of a journey that will ultimately see fans around the world write their own future through experiences that put them at the center of the action. In June, fans will be able to live like their heroes through a unique experience on nikefootball.com that generates ripple videos and visuals from their own photos and information, placing them at the center stage.

Wayne Rooney The Bearded Hobo in Nike Advertisement

Looking miserable, overweight, with unshaven thick beard. Yes, this is Wayne Rooney new looks in his brand new Nike advertisement.

This brilliant commercial will be aired next Saturday, and no doubt Rooney will be a star-turn for his unique appearance, as much as being a huge talking point. If Nike used to show an athlete stars in their most fit, and perfectly well-shape figured, this time Rooney will have to be showing up as his wife worst nightmare in the future. Well, hopefully not.

This ad with “Write The Future” campaign is meant to tell the world of how the slightest margin of error can lead to the ultimate glory – or utter dejection. A good message indeed.

In Rooney’s case the advert shows the star slipping a pass to team-mate Theo Walcott in the dying seconds of a crunch World Cup game against France with the score poised at 1-1. Bayern Munich star Frank Ribery makes a heroic interception, ending any hopes of England glory.

The following scenes shows how Wayne dropping to his knees, with the thought as he considers his life hitting the bottom of a rock. He got depressed, and imagining what it’s like if he faces a physical decline, and ends up with an overweight and a fat tummy, with a thick wild beard. Of course he looks miserable. Who doesn’t ?

This scenes, have proven us that not only he’s the best England striker, but also accomplished as an actor too. Great commercial.
