I am wearing a pair of my bleached denim Levis from this post here so happy with how they turned out as I really hated them black and would never of worn them I love it when you diy something that would of sat in the bottom of the wardrobe and I was also on the hunt for a pair of white cut offs so this has also solved that problem.

Transformed

Yesterday I took advantage of the sunny weather and spent the day bleaching Levis 501's out in the garden. I am quite happy with the transformation esp the black ones as I really did not like them oh a warning when attempting this wear gloves I did not first time round and I burnt my fingers oh and it takes quite a few times to get the desired colour.

I love this kimono and I cant stop myself from spinning and twirling in it :) the temperature has dropped a little and even though it looks quite warm I have to admit it was a little bit cold for bare legs it is after all still April but I still cant believe what gorgeous weather we have been having. I am wearing my much loved and very old moccasins I am not a big lover of flat shoes but these are the exception.

I am loving using my neighbours beautiful magnolia tree in my pics. I sadly have no trees in my garden so I thought I would make the most of theres as it won't look like that for long. I am rocking my DIY version of the Bitching and Junkfood denim shorts. I cant believe how amazing the weather has been these last few days.

I have had so much fun this month buying things. I have been on ebay buying Levis to turn into shorts this pair being one of them. Then I decided that I really wanted that dip dyed fringe necklace and of course Topshop had sold out ages ago but hey yep I found one on ebay. The silver ring was a little treat on a lunch time shopping spree opps along with a huge turquoise pendant both from Toppers.

My outfit was inspired from Inside my Head and my Wardobe check her out she has gorgeous style and an amazing wardrobe of fabulous Topshop pieces could not help poaching her shawl idea I have had this one for ages.

So pleased with my latest DIY check the post out here. I am also pleased that I can actually wear faded Levis 501 denim cut offs in the winter as I really enjoyed wearing them in the summer. Teamed with a lot of black they work perfectly.

Short and sweet today chickens manic at work retail this time of year is busy and the hours long :(((. Oh well it is also lots of fun helping guys pick pressies for their partners and I love wrapping it all nice in the box so they will get a lovely surprise when they lift the lid.

Going Oriental

I mentioned a couple of posts ago that I am on the hunt for kimonos and after much searching and a lot of loses on ebay I have found an ebay seller with the most amazing collection and they are super cheap and are buy now so no disappointment check them out here. The hardest thing is which one to pick I know I will be back for more oh and dont be put off by the size the one I am wearing is perfectly fine.

Bitching and Junkfood

Have you guys checked out Bitching and Junkfood I totally love their clothes. I was checking out some of my favourite blogs and noticed that the lovely Betty from Le Blog de Betty was wearing a pair of Bitching and Junkfood shorts check the post out here feeling inspired I grabed a pair of pleather trousers which I got a couple of years ago and the zip had broken cut two rectangles out and stitched them on to my Levis 501 cut offs ta da. Only took about 5 mins I will do a post with them soon.

Old with a touch of new

Blouse Cacharel, Vest Primark, Cut Offs Topshop, Boots Dune, Bag Chloe

I am wearing some old pieces here. The blouse is by Cacharel we used to stock it at work but sadly stopped about a year ago I was drawn to the colours and pattern of it it reminds me of clouds. The bag is also old and is by Chloe again I was drawn to the colour. You can see why my title is called old with a touch new the boots are a new addition to my shoe collection. My nan knitted the headband and it keeps my ears nice and warm.
