Transformed
Yesterday I took advantage of the sunny weather and spent the day bleaching Levis 501's out in the garden. I am quite happy with the transformation esp the black ones as I really did not like them oh a warning when attempting this wear gloves I did not first time round and I burnt my fingers oh and it takes quite a few times to get the desired colour.

DIY Done Good
Dress H&M (diy by moi), Cycling Shorts H&M, Gladiators Jeffrey Campbell (old), Sunnies Vintage Lanvin my Aunties
Hello 24 degrees we are having some seriously warm weather here in the UK. You might remember my diy from this post here. Well because the weather has been so fabulous I have been able to wear some of my pieces for summer. This so perfect in warm weather it feels like I am wearing nothing so I am quite happy that I sacrificed my H&M maxi dress.

Simplicity
Jumper Topshop (old), Levis 501 Cut Offs (diyed by moi), Boots Topshop (old)
I am loving using my neighbours beautiful magnolia tree in my pics. I sadly have no trees in my garden so I thought I would make the most of theres as it won't look like that for long. I am rocking my DIY version of the Bitching and Junkfood denim shorts. I cant believe how amazing the weather has been these last few days.

Fun with a Fiver
Some weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely Michelle from the charity YouthNet asking if I'd like to be involved with a project they were via TheSite.org
They are hosting a competition on their facebook page where people tell them what they would do with a fiver (£5) and to kick it off they wanted to enlist some bloggers,
so along with other fab bloggers such as MJ and Kavita I hopped on board!
The challenge involved creating something with a fiver and sending it on to the person next in the chain, in return you received what the person before you had created.
The person before me happened to be Kavita
I picked up my parcel on Saturday and here is what she made (I am so in awe of her skill!)

I am actually in LOVE.
It's been really interesting to see how creative people get, MJ for example made an incredible clutch bag!
I'll post what I've made when Matthew receives it...it was much harder than I thought to create something for a boy, I must admit!
I also found this octopus lurking in the parcel, AMAZING

For further explanation of the Fiver Challenge check out this video:
and don't forget to check out the facebook page and vote for your favourite creations and get more ideas of what you can do with just five pounds!

Yet Another DIY
Images via Style.com
I am attaching feathers to everything I found this gorgeous printed scarf by Therapy check it out here I attached feathers to two corners to give it a bit more interest and to channel Roberto Cavalli's AW11 collection I am pleased to see that the Boho look with lots of fringing and feathers is still going to be strong in AW11
I have been buying a few things on ebay mainly Levis to turn into shorts and some other bits and bobs will share them with you soon xoxo
