Preity wore a snug, well constructed frock from Zara with some ladylike heels. The red color is her favorite and the addition of skinny belt gives it a trendy look. I think she would have looked more graceful if the hemline was a little longer.

Lisa is graceful and elegant in a grey, printed dress. This cropped hairstyle looks good on her.

Suzanne kept it simple in a very feminine and flattering LBD in a classic silhouette - a close-fitted bodice and full-flare skirt nipped with a skinny belt. The pleating on the sleeve and tiers on the skirt add a new twist to the old classic. Love!

Love is blind, so is adoration:-) I refuse to see Preity's washed out face or her common-place front-ruffle dress. I think she just rocks!!

Katrina succeeded in doing the impossible - making florals look as dull as the ditch water. And as if the dress wasn't depressing enough, Katrina paired it with drab brown accessories.
Twinkle also wore some dull colors but by adding a bright green bag and layered gold necklace, she totally elevated her outfit. All hail the queen of accessorizing!!

Wow, Shilpa's body is a work of art! Just one question - how do you sit in that dress or more importantly, breath?

A wraparound dress and a tulip hemline - both are my favorites and no wonder, I love Sophie's outfit. The color is great and I like her choice of accessories.

Is that really you, Gauri? Gauri in something that is not bright orange, OTT or blinding us! And she is looking good! Gauri is hip and trendy in a masculine pants worn with a very feminine halter top. I just hope she keeps it up.
Farah also looks trendy in her slim cigarette pants worn with a loose white top and teamed with red clutch and red lips. Not sure about her hairstyle - I think its too teenagerish for such a sophisticated outfit.

Rani - Whoa, why is she so orange?Is she preparing to be a pumpkin in her next movie?
Genelia - Lacy leggings with a sheer blouse?? No one is that cute enough to make such an outfit work!
Sonali - She is having a serious relationship with bib necklaces and I am not complaining!

All four wore the most basic of outfits - jeans + white top but added instant glamor with $$$ designer bags. Love the color of the Kelley bag but also like brown against white (Raageshwari) and Amrita's top is cute..Well, I cant decide which look I like best!

This one is easy. Love the color combination, hate the pant style.

Preity wore a black drop-down waist dress with a silver bow and red pumps to a store launch. Curly hair and heavy eyeliner completed the look. She will always look gorgeous to me but I cant help but notice that her skirt is crumpled and the fitting around her waist is little off:(

Ayesha - Dreamy, romantic dress paired with red lips and gold peep-toes. Perfect.
Anupama -Love the pairing of a tailored leather jacket with a floaty chiffon dress. The shoes just don't work for me. Its one more element fighting for attention.

Deepika and Preity went for a laid-back, causal look in jeans, tee and shoes. Both look great and I love their hairstyles.

Rani, Madhoo and Amrita upgraded their basic jeans with some glitter and sequins. Not bad, but a clutch to a concert??

Who: Anushka Sharma, Minissha Lamba

Anushka went for a tights + blazer combo and Minissha opted for a tulip skirt paired with a tee.
I like when people mix black and brown but the shoes look a little off with the outfit.
The colors of Minissha's outfit are pretty but am not a big fan of skirts at rock concerts.

Is it just me or does anyone else see the resemblance between Kiran's skirt and Ursula's tentacles? I always figured Kiran was an alien:-) Her dressing sense is out of this world (geddit, geddit??)

Who: Sonakshi Sinha, Katrina Kaif, Vidya Balan

Sonakshi and Katrina are elegant in their incredibly delicate anarkalis. I really like the color contrast of the deep red bodice in the Tarun Tahiliani outfit that Katrina is wearing.
Vidya wore a Sabyasachi anarkali to the event. No the anarkali and her crimped hair.

Who: Twinkle Khanna, Preity Zinta, Suzanne Khan

Twinkle is a knockout in her bright pink dress. Not only is the color gorgeous but I also like the cut of her beautifully tailored outfit. Perfectly paired with brown peep-toes and gold layered necklace.
Preity - Looking pretty as always!!
I am surprised to see Suzanne in a Ritu Kumar which has been previously seen on Neha Dhupia as well as on Diana Haydon. Its a pretty outfit but I can only see it so many times:-)

I like Madhuri's color combination. Not sure about her clutch or shoes..
Deepika always looks good when she is not in a bridesmaid dress.
The design and embroidery of Priyanka's outfit give it a very tacky effect. I also feel this kind of long top only looks good in anarkali style.

Gauri in an outfit that is not OTT and harsh orange in color. How did this happen?
Kareena sparkles and shines in a net saree with glittering sequins. The sequins are really the star of this outfit elevating a basic black saree. It also helps that gorgeous Kareena is wearing it..
Rani wore a Sabyasachi saree. Not a big fan of this mustard yellow color.
Genelia wore a great color but she looks under-dressed for the event.

Who: Ameesha Patel, Anushka Sharma

What a surprise - Ameesha in a outfit that is not attention-seeking!! I hope she keeps it up.
Anushka wore a short grey dress with sequins and kept her makeup and accessories minimal. The dress, though not a knockout, is pretty and flattering. She paired the dress with smart black shoes.

Red Carpet Event: Filmfare awards 2011(Part 2)

Who: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

No surprises here - was pretty sure Aishwarya will be in a saree. Just surprised that its not ugly or OTT!! The saree is very elegant and Aish looks graceful.

Who: Katrina Kaif

Katrina wore a Manish Malhotra creation which is stupendously beautiful! It looks like she walked off the ramp into the event:-) Given that the outfit is so blingy, Katrina kept her makeup and accessories minimal. Also surprised to her "girls" since Katrina rarely does cleavage..

Who: Preity Zinta

I am incapable of making an objective judgment here, becoz of my overwhelming affection for Preity Zinta:-)

Who: Vidya Balan, Dia Mirza

Any guess as to who Vidya is wearing:-)
The outfit doesnt need such a statement necklace and her hair isnt winning her any points today.

Dia kept it simple in a black saree (not sure if its a saree or lengha) with a lace top. Her top has a very unusual design. Close ups are below.

I do love the lace-y, sexy look but the the back is a little creepy - looks like the saree is coming out of her body!!

Who: Urmila Matondkar, Esha Koppikar, Mini Mathur

Urmila - Another Manish Malhotra creation. This guy certainly has a hold on the celebs:-)

Esha - Even though this look is simple, its one of her best looks. The rest of the times, she come across as trying too hard.

Mini - Love this woman's style. She is always looks effortlessly chic!

In case of any emergency, we all can use Kajol's oufit to parachute to safety!

Kalki has a quirky style but this is not quirky - this is what every starlet on a cheap budget wears! Dont loose ur individualism, Kalki - Fire the person who suggested this to you!

I have only one word for this post : love, love, love. The color and draping of Neha's dress is jaw dropping. Its kinda neon but she so pulls it off. I wish Neha had pulled her back so we could have a better view of the dress.
Malaika is smashing in that gorgeous peacock print dress. I bet she just rolls out of bed looking like this!
And Preity does look a little under-dressed but who cares:-)

Sushmita wore a DKNY jersey dress to the event and Preity went with a Burberry military jacket that she paired with a LBD and Chanel bag. Preity looks polished and chic in that outfit. Have I told you how much I adore her??
I know you guys heart Sush but can I dare to say she looks a little bland..

Nandita scores in her sequins and leather one-shoulder dress. I love the draping and the mix of these two contrasting fabrics.
Natasha wore a colorblock Herver Leger bandage dress with Bottega Veneta clutch - two of the most commonly owned items in Bollywood today:-)
Malaika's outfit is also divine but she got her accessories wrong. I can live with the cage booties but the golden jeweled clutch is too much of a clash...

Loving Ayesha's bold red lips!! She looks cute in her ruffle top and skinnies.
Laila teamed a black corset with satin pants and some bold jewelery. Not sure why everyone is into orange hair nowadays? Ditch the tacky purse and we are talking..
Ignore Lisa's awkward pose. I have new respect for her - She scored a Burberry Porsum dress for the event!!

Clash of the titans or David and Goliath:-) Madhuri and Malaika, the judges in the new season of the dance show opted for very different looks at the press meet. 

Madhuri wore an orange-black half sari. The outfit is little OTT but she looks gorgeous!!

Malaika wore a strapless gown in soft, washed out fall colors. The gown is identical in design (not colors) to the Elie Saab Spring 2010 couture gown that Rachel McAdams wore to Oscars 2010. Totally digging her  floaty romantic look..

Priyanka is a picture of pure prettiness at the green awards. Is she out of her 'short dresses' phase and into saris? I am just glad she is giving us something new...Love the shade of green, the velvet border and the contrast with gold embroidery..

Raageshwari wore a smartly tailored schoolboy blazer with jeans and pumps. I like the length and the super-snug fit of her jacket. It gives her a very streamlined silhouette. Of course, I would have preferrred if she had not worn the silver buckle belt..
