I like the dress, cute! Since the dress is so hyper, Amrita could have easily skipped the brooch at the waist and opted for simpler shoes. The current ones compete with the dress for attention.

I am too lazy to do a separate post. So here are the scans from Sonam Kapoor's latest photo shoot (April'11 Filmfare). One thing I have to say this girl sure does love to experiment and (ok, two things) its difficult to keep her away from photo shoots and magazine covers!

Blue Reign

Who: Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon
Where: At the semi-final screening at Shahrukh's Mannat

Both, Karisma and Raveena, wore blue to support the Indian Cricket team at the Cricket World cup semi-finals. Karisma went the comfy route with velour jumpsuit and a drool-worthy blue Birkin. Raveena was polished in a silk shirt with jeans. I think they both look lovely. If India had lost, I am sure I would have said something else;-)

Amrita's dress is cute but I think its a wee bit long. Rani's dress is trendy but she has styled it pretty badly. Silver jewelry would have worked better than pearls and the hairstyle is just very un-sophisticated!

Love the soft pink color but the saree isnt very striking or glamorous. Her pink makeup is perfect with the outfit.

I have given up hope of seeing Vidya in anything other than Sabyasachi but its good to see her in a color other than red or white. The green is stunning and the outfit is like a visual punch to the eyes. She needs to fire her makeup artist since the foundation isnt the right color and the yellow bindi is a really bad idea.

After the pleated shorts disaster last week, Sonakshi redeems herself in these two outfits. She is elegant in the white/gold outfit. Her printed blue/white outfit is just "wow"!! Love, love!! And her side plait gives her a youthful look. My only complaint - such a beautiful dress requires sky high stilettos :-)

Ha, Kiran decided to dress like a "normal" person! Have to say I like it!! Hopefully, she will return to her old style otherwise I will have to no one to make fun off:-) wait, we still have the Celinas and the Ameeshas...

I think the two sisters have great potential as con artists. One can dazzle and blind everyone with her age-defying hot body and the other can carry out the crime. Don't you think? I mean, was anyone looking at the horses at this match? Do they even remember which horse won??

Deepika and Preity went for a laid-back, causal look in jeans, tee and shoes. Both look great and I love their hairstyles.

Rani, Madhoo and Amrita upgraded their basic jeans with some glitter and sequins. Not bad, but a clutch to a concert??

Anushka went for a tights + blazer combo and Minissha opted for a tulip skirt paired with a tee.
I like when people mix black and brown but the shoes look a little off with the outfit.
The colors of Minissha's outfit are pretty but am not a big fan of skirts at rock concerts.

Who: Katrina Kaif

Wow, Katrina rocks this color like nobody's business. She sizzles in a red Notte gown by Marchesa. Katrina tends to favor white/beige outfits but occasionally goes over to the bright side. I really like it that she is dressing up more on the red carpet.

Who: Kalki Koechlin

You are either gonna love or hate this dress, there is no in between. Kalki in her favored designer - Preeti Kapoor. At first, I didn't quite like it as its too neon but the style is interesting and unusual and Kalki's gorgeous smile won me over.

Who: Sonali Bendre, Chitrangada Singh

Both the ladies totally own the red carpet!!

Sonali wore a beautiful teal gown with a bib necklace. One single accessory makes her gown so much more interesting.

Chitrangada wore a green Shane and Phalguni Peacock dress that was earlier worn by Asin during the Dubai premiere of "London dreams". She kept her makeup and hair simple and is flawless example of great style.

Who: Dia Mirza, Sonal Chauhan

Cant make much of Dia's gown but the shade is unusual and the shoes so wrong:-)

Sonal knows you cant go wrong in anything that hugs ur curves and is all sparkly. She looks fantastic in a silver sequins gown.

Who: Mahie Gill, Amrita Rao

Looks like Mahie's dress got caught in a shredder on her way out! Not knowing what to do, she applied her makeup twice thinking that slutty makeup might distract the viewers...

Amrita is bland and boring in this outfit. At least Mahie is showing her boobs!!

Eevnts:No One Killed Jessica movie premiere

Who: Rani Mukherjee

Rani wore a showstopping orange-red Donna Karan dress to the premiere that she paired with gold cut out pumps and a gold necklace. The hair and makeup looks beautiful but the dress could not be more unflattering. The fit is awful and the draping is sloppy. Other than the eye-popping color, there is nothing I like here:-(

Yikes, whats up with all this bridal red sarees on red carpet? First, Deepika wore it to "Khelein hum Jee Jaam se" premiere and now Vidya. It would have been better if Vidya had stuck to her predictable Sabyasachi sarees.

Who: Kalki Koechlin, Chitrangada Singh

After all that red, Kalki is like a breath of fresh air - understated but chic in a cream saree with all-over leaf motifs which she teamed with a multi-stranded pearl strings.

A misstep by the always fabulous Chitrangada. She wore a Tarun Tahiliani anarkali which really doesnt work becoz of the wide belt. Hand her a sword and she looks ready to do battle!

Who: Shazahn Padamsee, Shraddha Kapoor

Shazahn sticks to cutesy safe formula and gets it right in a leather-velvet dress that fits her beautifully.

I like how Shraddha put together her outfit. She works a couple of popular trends here ( boyfriend blazer and floral top) but makes it look fresh.

Who: Amrita Rao, Kiran Rao

Amrita outfit would have been perfect if she had chosen a brighter color - not the fiery red which seems to be a favorite nowadays but something more youthful.

Kiran wore a delightful Prada Spring 2010 RTW jacket that totally goes with her quirky dressing sense. Its high-time she changed her hairtyle.

Who: Sophie Choudry, Sunita Gowariker

Love the color of Sophie's dress but the look is pretty ho-hum.

Sunita's silk top is fabulous with a luxe feel to it but such a wrong choice of footwear!!

Chitrangda is a picture of pure prettiness in this drapey, greenish-teal dress. Glossy, shiny hair and nude shoes complete the look. She is having a good run on the red carpet - wonder what she will wow in next?

Where: Various Durga puja events

Of the two saris that Rani wore to different events, I love the white/gold one. Rani is a picture of elegance and sophistication in that sari which she perfectly accessorized it with stunning gold jewelery.

The first sari looks like a Sabyasachi and has too much going on at once. The mix of prints as well as color makes it very busy although neck up Rani looks lovely.

Where:Zee TV "Action Replayy" diwali event

Aiswharya wore Manish Malhotra outfits to the Zee TV event. I like the color of the first one but the blue panel at the hemline ruins the outfit. The second outfit has dark, dull colors but looks OTT becoz of the gold embroidery. Most importantly, she need to fix her hair color!! It looks fake and ages her..

OMG!! Just yesterday I had picked a one-shoulder, loose fitting, sash at the waist outfit from Narendra Kumar's LFW collection for Dia and today she is wearing an uncannily similar outfit!! Am I good or what??

Dia ends her long dry run on the red carpet in this darling single-strap dress which she perfectly accessorized. Love the snowy palette and the beautiful draping of the dress...

Mixing prints is not that easy and you have to try different combos before you get it right. Unfortunately, this is one outfit where it doesn't work. Instead of black and white, if Shahzahn had worn white and pink stripes, she may have pulled it off.. What do you guys think?

Vidya decided to give the b'day girl company by wearing a tent too!! If you wondering about her hat, the theme of Shabana's party was different headgears. Knowing Vidya, I am pretty sure she would have worn it irrespective of the theme!!
Aishwarya looks simple and chic in a black outfit.
I love Urmila's hat - she carries it off pretty well. Her outfit is nothing great - when you make so few appearances, I would make sure each one rocks!!

The world is doomed if people are looking at Priyanka Chopra for style inspiration!! That double-looped necklace is sooo outdated and at the jacket color clashes with the skirt..It looked teenagerish on Priyanka and so does on Amrita..
