Shilpa wears one of the hottest trends of Spring, 2011 - colorblocking. The outfit colors are loud and pack a punch. Love the exposed zipper trend and the fluid draping of the skirt. The outfit is amazing, pity Shilpa got her accessories wrong..

Mixing prints can be tricky and most of the times comes across as trying too hard. But when done right, its fashion utopia! I love the Sabayasachi outfit that Madhoo is wearing. And with messy, bed hair, Madhoo gives it a very boho-chic vibe.

Lara looks radiant in a tiered, strapless gown. Does her presence at the show mean she will be wearing Ritu Kumar for her wedding? I am sure Manish Malhotra is throwing a fit somewhere:-)

Never knew Celina wore anything other than sarees! This is quite pretty. I hope its not once in a lifetime thing..

Another colorblocking dress, this time in geometric prints. Gul paired the dress with nude pumps and black clutch, giving the whole ensemble a very pulled together look.

Weekend Round - The beautiful and the bewildering

Pirates of the Caribbean or woman whose shoes we could live in?
Wow, she has big feet, and the shoes make the problem worse!
The whole look has a deja-vu feeling since Sonam tends to wear a lot of these high-waisted pants and did I mention I could live in her shoes with my 6 kids, 3 dogs and 1 cat and still have room to spare!!

Love both the dresses - have a very boho-chic vibe.
A big kick in the ass to Sameera for wearing such ugly shoes - what did her feet do to deserve this!!
Urmila would have fared better with a longer hemline.

Both, Kareena and Chitrangada, did the blazer and jeans combo. Kareena went for a semi-formal look pairing her jeans and graffiti t-shirt with a tuxedo blazer. She also went for a black/brown combination which always gets my attention.
Chitrangada went for a causal look with corduroy jacket and some killer heels and hair. Both look good.

Wow, that saree is so striking and Lara does it full justice. She looks stunning!

If Bipasha has paid more than $29.99 for that dress she is wearing, she got ripped off. That dress is done in by its hemline - its really ugly. And the yuck shoes. Double Fail!!

I like the color combination and the belt ties the whole look together. I am a little iffy on the width of the pant - maybe a tighter fit at the thighs and then gently flaring?!?

Priyanka has a great body and this corset dress really showcases it to perfection. Love the color of her outfit and choice of her footwear. Now, lets force-feed her some fat and lard:-)

Did we dedicate this year to be the year of the Peacock?? We just saw Malaika in one such print and now this.
Celina is all dolled up like a Pageant queen for a calendar launch. The saree is great in concept but not in execution. The printed figures really elevate the saree but the color combination does not work for me.

Vidya fares better than her movie premiere wearing a rich orange saree. She won the Best Actress(Critic) award.
Rekha is her usual self - all decked up to out-bling and outshine any Christmas tree.

Both the ladies might be a little understated for the red carpet but I love their sarees. Mini and Maria look chic in their elegant and simple sarees.

Celina, Celina, Celina- Sigh, don't you get bored looking at yourself in the mirror?

Mugdha wore a black peekaboo saree with tacky red flowers. She really tends to screw up red carpet events so trust me when I say this is a decent look. Neck up, she does look very pretty.

Wow! Rani is really glowing! I love her gorgeous makeup more than the Sabyasachi sari. Looking sweet and simple at the puja(prayer meeting)..

Chitrangada wore a bandage dress for the launch of Tanishq new watch collection. Love the pairing of the dress with nude shoes but not sure if the skinny belt was required. Again, gorgeous nude makeup with a hint of blush..

Another watch launch, this time by Deepika. The coral color looks really great on her but somehow the dress has a very tacky/cheap look to it..

On the bright side she experimented with her hair:-) And this is one instance when she needed her big bindi as her makeup looks pale..

Remember the "Spot the difference" puzzle we used to play as kids - when we were given two pictures which looked alike, though they were not. We had to find ten differences between them..Well, I betcha that you wont be able to spot any difference between Celina's appearance today for Diya jewellery conference in blue saree and her previous past appearances (other than the saree color)...Its Celina with pin-straight hair, spaghetti blouse, chiffon saree with sequins trim and same pose!!!! again...and again.....again......again....
