Weekend Round - The beautiful and the bewildering

Karisma is super elegant in this black/beige outfit. I love that she tied her hair which showcases her gorgeous, luminous skin and delicate shoulder bones. The length is a little awkward but she carries it off.

Who: Kangana Ranuat
Where: Femina Miss India Finale

This has to be Ms. Ranuat best appearance so far! Her classy do perfectly complements the stunning, modest(no boobs!!) pleated dress. And what color! Sigh!
Yes, the hemline could have been longer but I am pretty that piece of dress material went in covering her "girls" so am not complaining!

The print caught my eye(Custo Barcelona??) but on second thoughts me no like. It smells cheap to me:-(

Oh, the horrors!! I am never wearing white again!
The rate at which the celebs keep turning me of certain colors and trends, it will soon be time for me to join a nudist camp:P

Events: Dabboo Ratnani Calender launch

Just to give a little background - Dabboo Ratnani is a celebrity and fashion photographer who is best known for his annual calendar. Being featured in this annual calendar is a considered a big notch in the belt.

Who: Vidya Balan

Vidya in something other than a red saree:P Looks like a Sabyasachi anarkali.
I like how the designer has played with colors and different traditional embroideries. Its very boho-chic and I love the overall vibe. Not a big fan of clogs but it looks ok here.

Vidya seems to be taking off her clothes a lot for photo-shoots!!

Who: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya went for a very low-key look in jeans paired with a loose white shirt and brown peep-toes. On the other hand, the top she is wearing in the calendar is exquisite. Love the delicate row of buttons. But who chopped her arms off? The pic is awkward and borderline creepy!

Who: Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka wore a black jumpsuit with jeweled belt to the event. I could have lived with the jumpsuit but that draping in front is very inappropriately placed between her legs. Extra spurt of growth!!!!
And hon, you are in dire need of a pedicure!

Who: Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi wore a white dress that she brightened with bright, red lips. I like her dress - has a "easy breezy" summery feel to it. The pumps look a little clunky/heavy and I think peep-toes or slingbacks would have been better..

Who: Genelia D'Souza

I love everything about Genelia's outfit - from her chunky necklace, to her satin pants and silver metallic shoes. She looks effortlessly chic.

Genelia's calendar pic captures her essence - she does come across as having a lively, bubbly, effervescent personality. But for all I know she could be the biggest piss-pot:-)

Who: Mandira Bedi, Neetu Chandra

Mandira wore a lovely saree thats looks like its by designer Masaba. She should have skipped the necklace.

Neetu's floral jumpsuit is pretty but what really caught my eye was how well her pumps go with her outfit.

Sonam wore an inky-blue peplum dress to a magazine launch. The dress is just perfect on her and the ruffle at the waist delicately accents Sonam's long and lean frame. She paired the dress with silver metallic peep-toes and shiny, side-swept hair...Love!!

Who: Malaika Arora Khan
Where: Gillette 30 day challenge

Malaika in a blue one-shoulder Grecian dress with metallic embellishments which perfectly compliment her willowy figure. Since she was wearing such a notice-me color, Malaika kept the rest of her look simple and opted for a classic pair of silver peep-toe pumps.

Where: Mokssh wine launch

Neetu wore a strapless blue maxi-dress which she styled with a beautiful silver clutch and silver bell necklace. The accessories bring a sense of luxury to her otherwise plain-jane dress.Wish she had gone for better shoes and hairstyle!!
