The Vogue Talents Corner‏



Vogue Italia and thecorner.com presented an innovative project of scouting, The Vogue Talents Corner. An exciting installation displaying the collections of fourteen brilliant and promising young designers which have been selected worldwide by Vogue Italia, Vogue US, Vogue China, Vogue Paris and Vogue UK. 

An installation that will provide an opportunity for interactive shoppingclothing and accessories from the Spring/Summer 2011 collections are available in a dedicated area on  thecorner.com, also accessible in real time directly from the event.




The selected designers are: Akong London (designed by Nicole Akong), Burak Uyan, Caterina Gatta, Coliac (designed by Martina Grasselli), Covherlab (designed by Marco Grisolia), Georgia Turri, Glynneth B, Jen Kao, J.W. Anderson, Maria Francesca Pepe, Nuit N°12 (designed by Ludivine Machinet & Frédéric Baldo), Sara Battaglia, Uma Wang and Zou You. Nine women, four men and a duo, coming from Brazil, the United States, France, Germany, England, China and Italy. 

“The Vogue Talents Corner” presents the collections of apparel and accessories – footwear, jewelry, bags – for the Fall/Winter 2011-12 season, along with a selection from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which visitors can purchase on site; a sort of “live” e-commerce that enables one to shop online at thecorner.com for the items on display, thanks to interactive touchscreens installed throughout the exhibit.

Fashion's Night Out exclusive‏


English fashion designer Henry Holland (best known for his bold, 80’s inspired collections) has teamed up with ASOS.com to offer exclusive tank dresses (below left) for $40, on sale on Sept 10th at www.asos.com.  The dress will debut in the ASOS/Teen Vogue Fashion Show on Perry St, West Village, NYC during FNO at 7PM EST.


Additionally, anyone that attends the FNO festivities on Bleecker and Perry will receive this complimentary exclusive ASOS/Teen Vogue “British Bulldog” tee!(below right)
