Team of Ophir Tours and Rocketship Tours Brings You More Affordable Space Adventure with COR Aerospace’s Lynx Suborbital Spaceship

To travel in space for fun and entertainment may always be a dream for anyone; but the cost involved in this kind of expedition is the biggest hurdle in turning dream into reality. Currently, the space travel is offered for as much as $200,000 from few tourism companies.

But now a more affordable package is on the cards. Affordable in the sense that it costs less than half of the prevailing cost. One of the well-known tour and travel agency, Ophir Tours has collaborated with space tourism company, Rocketship Tours, to offers passionate adventure seekers a ride in XCOR Aerospace’s Lynx suborbital spaceship for as little as $95,000 per person.

As per the program, the Lynx suborbital spaceship, which is a horizontal take off spaceship will take the passenger on a ride of their lives, by taking them to the very corner of space, show them the wonders of our planet from miles above and bring them back safely to the take-off site.

The Lynx spaceship will ascend to an estimated 200,000 feet in just 4.25 minutes with a combined speed of an impressive Mach 2. The entire program that carries a price tag of $95,000 will also be inclusive of stays for the passengers in a luxury resort, where the passengers will be showered with luxurious amenities while they prepare for training, medical evaluation and screening.

The entire trip will be composed of one passenger, one pilot and a training program conducted at the NASA flight center in Arizona. The suborbital flights aboard the Lynx spaceship will take off from Mojave Air and Space Port in California.

Da Capo Gaia Rings: Named After Greek Titan goddess - - Intricated Inner Patterened Jewelry

It may not interest everyone, but the idea of having jewelry like these Da Capo Gaia Rings gives the wearer a cherished secret. The elegant titanium accessories feature an unbroken inner loop of intricate patterning, inspired by the vibrant hidden lining of men’s suits.

Made from the durable metal, these burnished bands have been named after the Greek Titan goddess, Gaia, often characterized as Mother Earth. Exhibiting a clean and unblemished outer ring, the piece’s inside layer reveals the inner beauty and complexities of form, derived from nature herself.

Looking a little like a repeated Arabic motif, the design of the Da Capo Gaia Rings still very much take on a universal charm. Made to match the Irish goldsmiths’ line of bracelets and cufflinks, these exquisite items of jewelry give the owner the greatest aesthetic satisfaction.

Matt Shilian and Origami Art: A Combination to Explore New Horizons for Classic Japanese Art

Taking the classic origami art a few steps further, Matt Shilian combined art with science to create these featured works.

Inspired by the cutting of different shapes and object to the design of a virus, Matt Shilian was definitely elaborate while detailing these different pieces. Shilian used various computer programs to get the format of his works and his intricate end products are worthy of a museum exhibit.

"Artist Matt Shlian is great at screwing up. A self-described papercraft engineer, Shlian designs stunning 3-D paper sculptures that fall somewhere between origami, pop-up books, and Minimal Art -- many of them happy accidents. Sometimes "I begin with an idea for movement and try to achieve that shape or form somehow," he tells us. "Along the way something usually goes wrong and a mistake becomes more interesting than the original idea and I work with that instead."

Air Swimmers: Fish Flying Through the Air With Remote Control in Your Hands

The aircraft-balloon type things aren’t exactly “in” right now, but anyone who loves marine life would flip their lid if they saw this. They’re called Air Swimmers, and they are fish that fly through the air like a remote controlled blimp. They look on the outside as though they’d be terribly boring, but they’re quite graceful and much happier than a toy helicopter that will likely fall out of the sky and injure you if you’re not careful.

They glide and float rather gracefully and look like real aquatic life in a sea of invisible water. Just check out the video below captured at Toy Fair. These should be available in July for about $40, and will definitely be a lot more safe for your children…or yourself, should the batteries die and it fall out of the air.

The 77-year-old, Sarah "Paddy" Jones, Amazing Slasa Dancer: Collection of Videos

The video clip below, which is currently being circulated via email, YouTube and social networking websites, shows (as claimed in video) an elderly woman expertly performing a vigorous salsa dance routine. According to a description that often circulates with the video clip, the dancing woman is none other than the famous Ginger Rogers filmed dancing at the age of 92 with her great grandson.

In fact, the woman in the video is not Ginger Rogers nor is the young man her great grandson. In fact, the video shows Englishwoman Sarah "Paddy" Jones, who was 75 years old when the film was shot in 2009. Sarah and her husband, who previously lived at Stourbridge in the UK's West Midlands, moved to Spain after retirement. Sarah, who started dancing when she was only 2 years old, decided to take salsa lessons after her husband died several years ago. Her younger dance partner shown in the video is her dance teacher, Nicholas 'Nicko' Espluos.

In December 2009, salsa dancer Sarah Paddy Jones (UK, born July 1, 1935) and her partner, Nicko, took first prize on the Spanish TV talent show Tu Si Que Vales.

Sarah "Paddy" Jones Salsa-Show with Nico in Munich is Got-Talent-Winner Supertalent-Gewinner 2009 in Spain. Salsa-Show is in Munich 2005 or 2006.

Valentine's Day: ‘Keep It Classy’ With Luxurious Chanel Condoms

I came across an interesting news worth of sharing here before sharing another beautiful idea on this Valentine’s Day. According to the news the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) warned the Department of Health to stop handing free condoms on Valentine’s Day, as it is a major cause of promoting premarital sex especially in the teenagers.

Now let’s come to the actual stuff want to share; this Valentine’s Day, make sure you up the gamble with these Chanel Condoms. I’m sure that loving like this only comes once in a blue moon, so why not enjoy it on the love birds’ day which happens to be the most romantic day of the year.

Enticing you to ‘Keep It Classy,’ these Chanel Condoms certainly make you pay for it. Priced at $279 for a pack of twelve, they better come lined in gold or with a commemorative key chain. Or may be you can just stick with the your ordinary brand, if you can't afford it; but don't forget to express your love on this very special day.

Lemon Slice Table: Amazing Piece of Furniture Designed by Carl Chaffee

The Lemon Slice Table is an absolutely amazing piece of furniture, solely for the fact that it actually resembles a real-life lemon slice.

Designed by Carl Chaffee, the Lemon Slice Table is made out of resin (not lemon, unfortunately). Focusing on the tiniest of details, Chaffee reproduces everything from textures to seeds within this piece, with the base diverging into an actual chrome support.

Art du Temps: Amazing Wall Clock Design by Illi and Julien Ado Created for An Agency Called Design by 8

This wall clock is not a clock on the wall but the entire wall is a clock. It has the best Swiss watch technology and it is mechanical but the way it works is what makes it unique and amazing.  It is wonderful to just watch the clock function and tell the time when you ask. Putting together this elaborate clock is expensive but it will soon go in for commercial production and will not remain a mere concept prototype.

Art du Temps is a design by Illi and Julien Ado created for an agency called Design by 8. The design is basically rectangular board with lot of squares on it.  These squares move up and down to the beat of the second to show that the clock is working. The movement of the squares does not follow a pattern by but happens randomly. When you want to know the time you simply ask. You can do it with a remote device or through voice command.

What follows is the most interesting part.  The squares move around like a choreographed ballet and finally display a digital clock, but one that uses physical pieces. It is called “mechanical digital hours”. Now that the production plan for the clock is in place the price of the final product has been firmed and it will cost you around 90,000 Swiss francs. They will start taking orders from March 2011. The delivery of first pieces will start from fall/winter of 2011. The wait would be worth it.
