Da Capo Gaia Rings: Named After Greek Titan goddess - - Intricated Inner Patterened Jewelry

It may not interest everyone, but the idea of having jewelry like these Da Capo Gaia Rings gives the wearer a cherished secret. The elegant titanium accessories feature an unbroken inner loop of intricate patterning, inspired by the vibrant hidden lining of men’s suits.

Made from the durable metal, these burnished bands have been named after the Greek Titan goddess, Gaia, often characterized as Mother Earth. Exhibiting a clean and unblemished outer ring, the piece’s inside layer reveals the inner beauty and complexities of form, derived from nature herself.

Looking a little like a repeated Arabic motif, the design of the Da Capo Gaia Rings still very much take on a universal charm. Made to match the Irish goldsmiths’ line of bracelets and cufflinks, these exquisite items of jewelry give the owner the greatest aesthetic satisfaction.

Most Expensive Painting on Display at the Tate Modern - - A Treat for Art Lovers Especially Picasso Fanatics

Art is invaluable and you can’t really put a price to it. Picasso’s Nude, Green Leaves and Bust is a perfect example. The whole art world was stunned when it fetched a price of $106.5 million at Christie’s in New York. Now there is good news for art lovers, particularly those who love Picasso’s work. This most expensive painting is on display for the people to see and admire at the Tate Modern.

This painting was created in 1932, which by the way was the most fruitful year in Pablo Picasso’s creative life. He had done a series of paintings of his mistress and muse Marie-Therese Walter. This painting was part of a colorful explosion of works painted in January 1932 in anticipation of the major retrospective that he was planning.

The painting is currently owned by Steve Wynn who has lent it to the gallery and it will occupy the pride of place in the new Pablo Picasso room in the Poetry and Dream wing on Level 3 of the building. All works by Picasso have become very valuable and they generally exceed the pre sale estimates at the auctions. La Lecture, which is another masterpiece by him from the same period fetched $40 million earlier this year. Le Reve is another valuable work from the period by Picasso which can surprise every one with the price it commands if it is put under auction.

Jason Vaughn is a tattooist who currently works at Deluxe Tattoo in Chicago, Illinois. His work is amazing and incredibly detailed. The perfectly executed tattoos are bold, bright and colorful. Many of the tattoos featured have sassy women and intricate animals in them.

One of the most amazing tats is the one of an Alice in Wonderland scene that fills a client’s entire back. It almost looks fake because it’s done so well! Jason Vaughn is definitely a talented man and can be trusted with a needle.

Nomad Paintbrush Stylus - - Let You Create Artistic Masterpieces Digitally on Your iPad

There are tons of artists out there who are intimidated by the old-fashioned tools and mediums. Mixing paints is much more of a hassle anymore, and buying a ton of paint and canvas can get expensive for those who want to paint just for the fun of it. The iPad wants you to be able to create some masterpieces, and not be reduced to finger-painting anymore.

For a bit of a throwback combined with our fancy-dancy iPad, we will now have access to this Nomad Paintbrush Stylus that will act as a real brush and not a solid circle to be dragged across the screen. At only $24, you can convert to electronic art if you’re already an experience painter, and sell prints in no time. Slowly but surely we are moving to a paperless society, and it’s a good thing we haven’t forgotten about our art.

Matt Shilian and Origami Art: A Combination to Explore New Horizons for Classic Japanese Art

Taking the classic origami art a few steps further, Matt Shilian combined art with science to create these featured works.

Inspired by the cutting of different shapes and object to the design of a virus, Matt Shilian was definitely elaborate while detailing these different pieces. Shilian used various computer programs to get the format of his works and his intricate end products are worthy of a museum exhibit.

"Artist Matt Shlian is great at screwing up. A self-described papercraft engineer, Shlian designs stunning 3-D paper sculptures that fall somewhere between origami, pop-up books, and Minimal Art -- many of them happy accidents. Sometimes "I begin with an idea for movement and try to achieve that shape or form somehow," he tells us. "Along the way something usually goes wrong and a mistake becomes more interesting than the original idea and I work with that instead."

Recently an American artist, Jennifer Rubell created a life-sized waxed statue of Prince Williams which is showcased in the window of Stephen Friedman Gallery in London.

The unique waxwork of Jenifer Rubell presents an open offer to every girl for posing with the future King of England. Once any girl would slide her arm through the arms of waxed-Williams she would feel the excitement of Kate Middleton on the eve of engagement.

‘Bad Babysitter’: Scarry Sculptural Series by Mikael Alacoque

Small dogs are usually cute and cuddly, but the talented Mikael Alacoque has made them terrifying and unsettling in these featured works.

Mikael Alacoque’s sculptural series entitled ‘Bad Babysitter’ features a dog with a skull for a head and the body of a tiny canine. If that isn’t strange enough, the dog is colored bright fluorescent blue and pink and has ice cream cones stuck on the top of its head. Check out this unusual canine in the gallery above and try not to imagine it as a pet.

Treat for Origami Enthusiasts - - Cool Examples of the Origami Art Form at Origamido Studio

Full if intricate and unique designs, Origamido Studio has some of the most intensely cool examples of the origami art form I’ve ever seen.

Located in Hawaii at the International Market Place, the Origamido Studio is renowned for not only their world-famous origami, but also their instructional workshops and welcoming educational atmosphere. What sets it apart from most retail outlets however, is that Origamido Studio is as much a social mecca for origami enthusiasts as it is a business—a fact that has made it a popular hot spot on the island.
